Pharmacological Actions:pharmacodynamics Tilmicosin is a special animal semisynthetic bactericidal macrolide antibiotic, its antibacterial activity is similar to tylosin. It is sensitive to gram positive bacteria, like Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), Pneumococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus anthraci, Bacillus erysipelatos-suis, Listeria, Clostridium septicum, Clostridium chauvoei etc and sensitive gram negative bacteria contains Haemophilus, Neisseria meningitidis, Pasteurella multocida and so on, it is also effective to mycoplasma. The activity of tilmicosin solution to actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma species is stronger than that of Tylosin. 95% of the Hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product. Pharmacokinetics The absorption is quick for oral administration. It is characterized by strong penetrating power and large volume of distribution (> 2L/kg). It is high concentration in the lung, half-life of 1~2 days, and the effective concentration of blood is maintained for a long time.

Drug Interaction:(1)The combination of this product and epinephrine can increase the mortality of pigs.

(2)This product and other macrolides, lincosamides have the same target, so they should not be used at the same time.(3)This product is antagonistic to β-lactams.

Indications: Treat chronic respiratory disease of chickens and cholera fowl.

Indication & Dosage:Mixed drinking: 0.75ml/L in water to chickens. Keep 3 days.

Adverse Reactions: The toxicity of this product on animals is mainly directed at the cardiovascular system, which can cause tachycardia and decrease contractility.

Note: Forbid using in layer chickens.              Storage Condition: Shady and sealed preservation.

Withdrawal Period: 10 days in chicken.           Specification: 10%.
